introduce change for code quality

Change version from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2
These are the code quality changes.
Review changes to configs. And, there are changes for code quality.
Many changes are similar to the following: '===' instead of '=='.
Unused variables are commented out. Actual deletions have not been done
Remove test-quarantine.
