I quite understand what you're saying, can confirm it's a bug. Could you please pull the latest code and recreate a PR? I can't see your file changes, not actionable. |

When the value for string.format gets above 99, then you get an error message saying "invalid option %-XXX for format". see e.g wincent/command-t#415
