[Feature request] Target branch and commits other than master/HEAD #19

Would it be possible to add the ability to target:

  • branches other than master
  • commits on a certain branch, other than the HEAD

I think it would not be very hard to do.

The only unclear thing is how to save on repository cloning in this case. I'll take a look as I have time

Is issue still relevant ? I have a working fork for this feature, since work to be done has been prepared, it is a very tiny modification (at least for branches). I can make a PR if needed.
