Hello,
The current version in the master does not seem to be stable and is actually missing a few files. Perhaps it would be best to move the code in the current master branch to a development branch and keep the master stable.
I created a new branch that rollbacks to commit 6408a43 and adds a few small patches to create a stable PyPI release. Most of the modifications update the code to be compatible with python 3 interfaces. With this changes, the current project does not support python 2.7 as is specified in the setup.py file.
