Why does my barcode get an extra character on the end?

Hello Mr. Burton,
I just new to the postscript language family. I can code a little postscript language but not a complicate one. Recently, I download your postscript barcode example published on 07/15/2021. I just extracted the portion of postscript function/procedure I need by using notepad in order to generate a pure barcode 39 code. But, when I display in the ghostview the code 39 or code 93 have one extra character on the end which major Barcode Reader can not read. Example I have part number - 0UM55XDUAG passed into your /barcode string, when it output code 39 on the ghostview I saw 0UM55XDUAG-. The '-' end is is the 11th characters , but my input length is 10. Please help. For Code 93 the 11th is a white space.

Please help. I am include my simple code 39 code that was copied all procedures from your release.

If you do not want a check digit to be calculated then don't ask the library to include one. Refer to the documentation, specifically for the includecheck option: https://github.com/bwipp/postscriptbarcode/wiki/Code-39
