🚀 Feature Proposal

Revert #666 when possible.

Motivation

#666 is a necessary evil right now, and so far we are unable to determine why the composition sometimes fails to start up otherwise. If we figure that out, or if the problem turns out to be a bug in Docker that goes away in a future release, then we should revert the change.
