Developing

Once you've created a project and installed dependencies with npm install (or pnpm install or yarn), start a development server:

npm run dev

# or start the server and open the app in a new browser tab
npm run dev -- --open

If you want to test your UI against actual Clouditor endpoints, be sure to start a Clouditor engine instance with the following parameters:

./engine --db-in-memory --dashboard-url=http://localhost:5173

This will configure the necessary login redirects for your local development instance.

Building

Before creating a production version of your app, install an adapter for your target environment. Then:

npm run build

You can preview the built app with npm run preview, regardless of whether you installed an adapter. This should not be used to serve your app in production.
