  • When a ManyToManyField is present with blank=False then we map it to allow_empty=False.
  • When a ManyToManyField is present with blank=True then we map it to allow_empty=True.

This ensures that our ModelSerializer behavior is in line with Django's ModelForm behavior.

Closes #2804.
