1.0 release

First stable release of the library.

Since the beta release the Makefile system was improved to build correctly also on x86_64 architecture.

Improved also the XWindow event loop to avoid lag in windows resizes.

First release beta1

This is the first release since the separation from the GSL Shell code base.
