Dug up the mention:

Also dug up the email from when I put my email into cobudget.co. Landed on a MailChimp list ... with an email address for Derek in the welcome message! :-) |

Thanks for the call, @derekrazo! Group created, https://github.com/cobudget/beta.cobudget.co/issues/2 reticketed, and I'm in yer slack! Looking forward to kicking the tires! |
Actually, let's keep this ticket open to track tire-kicking. :) |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4g0t4aEw3E#t=13m08s I made a "bucket" for #534. Now we need to get the rest of you signed up and give you money to allocate ... I think this looks like a really promising way to allocate our operating budget! I'm a little nervous about pushing this hard before https://github.com/cobudget/beta.cobudget.co/issues/2 is resolved. What do you think @rohitpaulk @aandis @mattbk @clone1018 @kaguillera et al.? |
Also, we would want budget allocations to happen publicly, but Cobudget buckets seem to be private. |
I've mentioned this in Cobudget's |
Alright! This is exciting! I think we revisit this after we have payroll (#466) so we can use that as the basis for our allocations. |
There's a tool called Cobudget which looks like an interesting way to do collaborative budgeting. It's currently in closed beta. I requested an invite through their form about six months ago but never heard further.
