I'm not sure if there is any desire for this to be reintroduced as it was removed in adf97e0. But here is a small PR on the off chance that it is until #1827 is in a good state to merge.
If this PR isn't a desired addition to the repo at the moment, I am happy to continue to keep this branch on my fork up to date with the upstream so that Arch WSL2 users who come across this via Google or GitHub search can use
