# WP Scholar * **Contributors**: DragonFlyEye * **Donate link:** http://holisticnetworking.net/donate * **Tags:** cpt, scholar, academia * **Requires at least:** 4.0 * **Tested up to:** 4.0 * **Stable tag:** 0.1 * **License:** GPLv2 or later * **License URI:** http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html Provides custom post types to support academic content types. # Description Academic websites require certain types of information such as publications and undergrad lists which are not natively supported by Wordpress. WP Scholar seeks to fit this role by creating a few basic, necessary CPTs that can be used to build an academic website. Additionally, WP Scholar provides basic fallback template files that support Zurb Foundation responsive layouts. All fallback templates can be overriden in the site theme in exactly the same manner as child themes. Simply replace the single-{cpt}.php or archive-{cpt}.php files and code as desired. # Content Types * Publications * People (undergrads, interns) * Research * Gallery * Courses * Graduate Studies * Awards, Honors * Feeds # Installation 1. Download the plugin through the WordPress plugin installer 1. Activate 1. Go to Dashboard > Content Types to activate the relevant content types for your site 1. Go to Plugins > WP Scholar to configure the plugin 1. Plugin comes with Zurb Foundation-compatible fallback themes, but you may wish to design your own. Copy any post type template into your own template directory and modify per your needs. # Screenshots 1. This screen shot description corresponds to screenshot-1.(png|jpg|jpeg|gif). Note that the screenshot is taken from the /assets directory or the directory that contains the stable readme.txt (tags or trunk). Screenshots in the /assets directory take precedence. For example, `/assets/screenshot-1.png` would win over `/tags/4.3/screenshot-1.png` (or `jpg`, `jpeg`, `gif`). 2. This is the second screen shot # Changelog ## 0.1 * Initial commit
