Quickbase Ruby Gem

The Quickbase Gem provides integration access to the Intuit Quickbase API.

Installation

gem install quickbase

or, in your Gemfile

gem 'quickbase'

Quick Start Example

Quickbase::Connection.username = QUICKBASE_USERNAME
Quickbase::Connection.password = QUICKBASE_PASSWORD
Quickbase::Connection.org = QUICKBASE_ORGANIZATION # defaults to www

require "rubygems"
require "quickbase"

quickbase = Quickbase::Connection.new(:apptoken => "apptoken", :dbid => "dbid")

records = quickbase.api.do_query(:query => "{'3'.EX.'5'}", :slist => "3", :clist => "3.6.7")

Setting a proxy

quickbase = Quickbase::Connection.new(:apptoken => "apptoken", :dbid => "dbid", :http_proxy => "http://my.proxy.com:80")

the sytem http_proxy, https_proxy and no_proxy environment variable will be respected if you don't explicity pass a proxy
