The feature you want - custom config properties is totally valid. Let's rather do this: #304 I already have a branch with this change, I'm only not sure what is the best version of the API. |

Before config would only recognize a set of predefined properties. With this change it would allow arbitrary properties in the config file which would be accessible by plugins.
