Welcome to the tutorial on Comparing Passive Strategies. This tutorial builds upon the Single Zone Model, and explains how to modify that model to compare the effectiveness of installing high-performance windows, introducing shading, replacing lighting fixtures, opening the windows for ventilation, and flushing the building with cool air at night.

The energy balance shown above is not actually normalized by floor area, rather it's the totals. At least in the example file these results are shown when the "modelEnergyBalance" output from the Energy balance component is connected to the Average data and Monthly Chart components respectively
