I backed up my dogecoin wallet from the Android client before uninstalling the App. But I found a strange withdrawal of all my balance to an address I don't know, almost the same time I backed up the wallet. The balance is still in the phanthom address since Feb 2018. I am 100% sure, the only thing I did was backup my wallet. I didn't send DOge to that address.

I did not notice this issue until I recently restored the backed up wallet on a new Android device and I can see a balance of 0 Doge after waiting for the sync to complete.

Here is the transaction I didn't initiate: https://dogechain.info/tx/8d0005ce525ddfc55835563011f98cba86b4c5dca71690308cee21f3202b2928

Also attached are logs I downloaded using the diagnostic feature on the Android client after restoring and wait 3 days for wallet to sync.

Did you try to go to the Console? In your wallet Goto Help > Debug Window then choose the Console tab Type in listaddressgroupings hit enter That maybe a way for you to see that phantom address in your wallet. if you see it let me know and I'll contact the dogecoin developer i am working with for next steps. ; )

I used the mobile app wallet here. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.langerhans.wallet
The app doesn't have the debug window feature.
Wondering if there is a way to import it into dogecore.

Okay so who in dogecoin development is looking at this? This is the place for issues correct? If i go through my notes of the two messages here and the ones on reddit we have 6 or 7 people that this has happened to. With all the attention on dogecoin right now this is not something that doge dev or the doge community wants out there. They don't want it to happen to them and they don't want this to be a story about dogecoin. We are talking about an issue that has been going on since my send on June 27th 2016 till I think the last incident was 2020 maybe 2021. We can't lose our dogecoin to a system issue and if we can recover it we need to have some kind of way to recoup the losses. You have some pretty large coin holders. If they want this to succeed the network needs to be free of these types of situations and have recourse for if it happens. There are ways to institute a dogecoin fund that pays for development. I was working on these things with other coins in the past and I would gladly share some ideas.

But if this is the place to go when there is an issue we need to get people on this now. No one is going to put their head in the sand on this one. I won't stand for it. So how do we escalate this and get some people dedicated and looking into it like today. I have been busy with other things but now this is my number 1 priority. So who is taking lead on this from the dogecoin side?
