Welcome to the Bus Arrival Times web application! This simple web app allows users to check the arrival times of buses at specific stops, search for nearby stops, and manage their favorite stops. It is designed to be user-friendly and provides real-time information about bus arrivals.

Search by Stop Name: Enter the stop name to search for bus arrival times at that location.

Search by Stop ID: If you know the stop ID, you can enter it directly to fetch bus arrival data.

View Favorites: Easily access your favorite stops with a single click. You can add stops to your favorites list for quick reference.

Search Nearby Stops: Find nearby bus stops based on your current GPS location. Note that location permission is required for this feature.

View all Urban Lines: Shows a list of all urban lines within the municipal territory of Marbella.

View all Metropolitan Lines: Shows a list of all suburban lines within the Metropolitan Area of Málaga Operated by the Portillo (Avanzabus) company.
To use the Bus Arrival Times web app, follow these steps:

Open the
index.htmlfile in a web browser. (Or check our github live page. Any data, like favourites, is stored locally in your browser as a cookie and cannot be acessed outisde of it, except by the API of the bus company, the data is forwarded to the API when making a call. I do not have control over how the data is handled by the bus company, your public IP adress may be included in the API requests.) -
Use the provided input fields to search for bus stops by name or ID.

Click the "Update" button to fetch bus arrival information.

Explore additional features like viewing favorites and searching nearby stops.
