Pre defined var __DIR__ doesn't work #281

There is many of errors related with directories path cause DIR doesn't exists in the system variables.
Stil can't repair distrib and start an installation cause directory issue provides to a chain of errors.

DIR work with php version at least 5.3

Hello @devzorg what is the exact error that you are getting? What is the PHP version that you are using?

Constant __DIR__ is available as of PHP 5.3.0. Magento 2 requires at least PHP 5.4.0. Please check your PHP version and the issue will go away.
