without an open source license nobody is allowed to use, copy, modify, distribute […] the technical documentation of this project. In fact the wiki says: © Copyright 2022, Benjamin Menkuec, Nils Allek. Revision 5674fd3f., so all rights reserved

I suggest to make this project open source and propose CERN-OHL-W-2.0 as its license. it's a well-maintained hardware-specific open source license that seems to fit the scope and spirit of the project.

hey @catkira super sorry, I made an embarrassing mistake (probably low attention level after a long day): you already had a license, I didn't notice. so after my merge request, there are two hardware licenses now: CERN OHL 1.2 (the original one) and CERN OHL W 2.0 (the one I suggested)

I see 2 options here:

a) you simply undo this pull request and everything is back to normal
b) you change to CERN OHL W 2.0 and delete the file LICENSE for hardware.txt

…sorry, this pull request generated more work than it was useful
