Introduced in branch/version: 10.3.x / 10.3.0

The SessionHandler class uses the correct PHP \SessionHandlerInterface method signatures for arguments and return types.

Any subclass of SessionHandler must update their method signatures to match \SessionHandlerInterface.

Subclasses of SessionHandler lacking the correct return type hints will result in fatal errors starting with Drupal 10.3.0.
