Like the title says, when using the dominant color for the window dots indicator, the dots hide.
I'm using v96 on Gnome 47 (arch just released v47 to the stable channels).

I was able to quite easily and consistently able to reproduce this issue.

Steps:

  1. Go to the extension's settings
  2. Go to "Appearance"
  3. On "Customize windows counter indicators", select "Dots"
  4. When "Dots" is selected, go to the indicator's settings
  5. Turn the "Use dominant color" option on
  6. See how the dots disappear

I don't know if there are any helpful logs that I can share, but, if so, please do let me know. Happy to help!

Theming seems completely broken for the moment.

Seeing this as well. Disabling "Use dominant color" option makes the indicators show.

This also occurs when setting a custom color for the indicators.

I'm so glad you posted this. I couldn't figure out why my indicators were gone.

Perhaps the problem lies here, this is the official documentation provided by gnome47 for developers. It seems that the accent color updated by gnome47 has changed the API for colors. So there is a problem with the function related to defining colors.

Unfortunately, this is not the only issue.
I removed dash to dock.
All is ok.
And guess what? The desktop is even more responsive

This should be fixed with #2287 (in the next release).

I can confirm I got my blue dots back!

Unfortunately that v97 update had the reverse effect for me on Gnome 46.
Upgrading to 47 fixes the issue, but many distros (like Fedora) are still on 46, for a while.
