Thank you for the suggestion, and I can see how this makes sense in some cases, but this is the core view helper for this library and changing its behavior would affect too many people and applications who haven't specifically opted into this change. Also, historically, I wasn't a fan of rendering links that do nothing: #76 (comment) |

To avoid breaking the page display when there's only one page, pagination should always be present.
