@astencel-sumo running some tests on this. The code looked "fine" but I thought it was weird the library put in the changes to variables for <var>_. I hadn't ever seen conflicts with this but after looking at things it may be causing a couple metrics to not show up. Working on confirming that though as I wouldn't expect that to fail like I'm seeing locally, especially since we test those metrics.
