Why is the Email case sensitive ?

i registerred just now with

Myemail.gmail.com

i tried login in using myemail.gmail.com and it said something is wrong i asked to change my password and again typed myemail.gmail.com but this message didn't show up (the other one did) also i used the terminal at the start for my email maybe that's why?

It certainly shouldn't be case sensitive, for sure. I just tried it out and I can confirm that the UI login page is indeed case-sensitive.

@michaelquigley - I wouldn't expect that so I've labeled it a defect.

im glad zrok sends me my excat email when i reigsiterred from the terminal other wise i wouldn't have relised i made the first letter upper case
