Transforming Figma PrimeOne Tokens automatically to PrimeReact UI component styling #3385
-
Hi, We have purchased the Figma PrimeOne 3.0.1 license to streamline our design-to-code processes. I could find some overlap of PrimeOne Figma tokens and PrimeReact styling. For example colors can be easily mapped with Tokens Studio and Style Dictionary:
However, I cannot find a similar analogy for most of the tokens, such as:
We are currently using Lara from primeng-sass-theme, but we are open to switching to an other theme, as we are working on a new project. Is there a way to solve this? Manually converting all the hundreds of tokens into UI code is not a viable solution for us. Best regards, |

PrimeReact v10 is not compatible with UI Kit v3, it is currently compatible with v2 as PrimeReact is not migrated to new theming yet. PrimeNG v19 and PrimeVue v4 currently supports UI Kit v3 and the upcoming theme designer, allows auto conversion of Figma Tokens to CSS variables. Currently there is no way other than waiting for PrimeReact v11 I'm afraid. |
