v0.5.0
Pre-releaseThis new version mainly offers to users two new features: twelve national propers and the internationalization (i18n) of major parts of the program.
Twelve national propers
The new propers are the following:
- american
- australian
- brazilian
- canadian
- english
- french
- new-zealander
- polish
- portuguese
- scottish
- spanish
- welsh
These propers are available in the website, GUI, CLI and even in the widget.
Note that national proper does not include all the diocesan propers of the country. Do not be surprised to not find one feast or another which is, in your prayer book, is included into the proper of your country: it is because the editor, for convenience purpose, decided to include the diocesan feast into the national proper. Diocesan propers will be included in next versions of Theochrone.
i18n
The app is now almost fully translated in english (american) which becomes the default language. Only the web version is not translated in english. It will be done in the next version.
Others
GUI
The Graphical-user interface has been made fully compatible with the new features of previous versions. Roman martyrology has been added, and the app has been translated into english.
Export
Export to ICS and CSV files, previously only available with the CLI, are now available on website and on GUI. These exports are intended to be used with calendars (Google Calendar, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.)
XLS (Excel-like) export is available only on GUI. The result is different than the results of ICS and CSV formats.
Bugs and errors
In addition to these new features, and others little ones not detailed here, many bugs and errors have been corrected.
Warning
This is not a stable version: Theochrone is not considered fully achieved. Although we did our best to avoid errors, bugs and mistakes can be probably found in the program. This is a free project, so feel free to contribute by telling us when bugs happen.
