KiCad 7.0.0 has a new property DNP, which should mean according to my opinion that the part should be missing from the BOM and from the Pick&Place position file.
DNP definitely implies that the part should be missing from the .pos file, but I am not 100% sure if you want to automatically exclude it from the BOM or not.
In the future KiCad might automatically add FP_EXCLUDE_FROM_POS_FILES and FP_EXCLUDE_FROM_BOM flags for DNP parts (they have not yet decided).
