Jam.py can use asynchronous server requests as per documentation.

What is this Python project?

Jam.py is an object oriented, event driven framework with hierarchical structure, modular design and very tight DB/GUI coupling. The server side of Jam.py is written in Python, the client utilizes JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap.

What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?

-From web2py original author Massimo Di Pierro about Jam.py: "Jam is a much more sophisticated version of web2py's appadmin, our name for the database UI. web2py is not a database UI and the one it exposes is in fact very limited. Jam.py is better at it."
