This new release include a lot of bug fixes and a few new features. The highlights are:
-
Thumbnails in the Load/Save window. The thumbnail is actually saved into the .craft file, so files created with an old Papercraft version will not show it. To get the thumbnail just load and re-save the file.
-
Lines in the 3D viewer obey the hiDPI setting. Before this in hiDPI displays the 3D lines were unusably thin.
-
Rim edges (those without and adjacent edge) are now shown in yellow in the 3D view. They use a wider line if they have a flap.
-
Some models have disjoint bodies. Now, when something is selected, non-selected bodies in the 3D view are shown transparently.
-
The algorithm for "Update with new model" has been rewritten. Now it is actually useful.
-
You can hold the Windows (Super) key while moving the mouse over the 3D view to avoid changing the highlighted faces and prevent flickers.
-
New option to show the names of the pieces but not the numbers in the edges. This is particularly useful for models with many small pieces.
