I've been working on open source web analytics and WordPress for the past 20 years. I'm the principle developer and maintainer of multiple projects.

Open Web Analytics

My mission with Open Web Analytics is two-fold: 1) help developers avoid building web analytics from scratch! 2) Give organizations a viable alternative to shipping their user data off to commercial web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

OWA is a large project. It that takes a lot of time and effort to keep up with the needs of the community. Sponsoring my work will allow me to devote more time to triaging issues and doing more core development.

PhotoPress

PhotoPress is a WordPress plugin and theme framework for photographers. It aims to fill in the feature gaps that exists in WordPress core and the needs of the broader photo community. For example, photographers can use PhotoPress to transform WordPress into a searchable image archive complete with custom meta-data taxonomies.

I've been developing (and using) PhotoPress for years and it takes time to support users and keep up with the changes made in WordPress core. Sponsors will allow me to spend time adding new features.
