Hi,
I wanted to use your library, but needed to add a few other things to it in order to get it working for my purposes. I've not fully tested this just yet, although it's a very minor change. I wanted to get this PR open to mostly open a dialog with you. Is there a more grand idea you had in mind to facilitate similar functionality and this is just a band-aid?
