[JupyterHub] User Registration and Basic Usage
This wiki page provides information about our internal JupyterHub system: http://jupyter.wara-sw.se/
This JupyterHub cluster uses a GitHub OAuth App to authenticate users. When you visit the main page of the system, you will find a Sign in with GitHub
button in the center of the page. Before clicking the button to login, you should meet at least one of the following condition:
- Either you have joined
wasp-sweden
GitHub organization, - Or you register your GitHub username in this issue, and we will invite you to an organization called
wara-sw-jupyter
, which has been granted access to the JupyterHub.
Click the button Sign in with GitHub
, then on the authorization page click the green button Authorize wara-sw-jupyter
. You will be redirected to the home page of your Jupyter Notebook after a few seconds.
Every authorized user has 10Gb
permanent storage for their notebooks. You can organize the files on the home page. Click a file to open the Jupyter Notebook editor and run your code.
The WARA-SW resources are hosted on the Ericsson Research Data Centre (WARA-Common). We don’t have a specific agreement with them about highly sensitive data. If this is important to your work, please let us know and we will start a dialogue with them. As of right now, we don’t know if this is feasible or not but would be happy to see what we can do (as long as we can point Ericsson to concrete users that need this feature).
If you have requirements about this feature, send an email to Christoph [email protected].
