"Bett vermessen" dann vielleicht? Korrektur trifft es ja auch nicht ganz...

Sehr schön.
Hab mal die bisher besprochenen Änderungen nachgezogen. |

"Vorw. ABS Einstellungen" 23 ist dann doch Speicherverschwendung.
@Blue-Marlin the only German word I know is weissbier. |
@jbrazio Currently we are waiting for a bit of feedback from the German community her. |
@Blue-Marlin How long do we give the members of the German community to utter their thoughts? I think, if we want this in 1.1.0 (Gold), we should set some kind of a deadline. |
@tkurbad |
I can't comment on the translations themselves, but in some cases perhaps there are still ways to keep the text around 16-18 characters max length? I can see why "V min ohne Extrusion" is preferable, since we get reasonable cutoffs:
I just want to make sure that translations all work equally well at 16 characters. |
@Blue-Marlin This deadline seems reasonable. |
@thinkyhead We'll have a second look at the longer strings today. But after Friday's discussion, I doubt there is much room for improvement. |

drei schräge Hochkomma helfen beim Zählen...
All in all a great improvement!
This is a good start! 😄 🍺 🍻
This was part of the discussion in german.
I can, because i am a native german speaker. Perhaps you let me merge it? @tkurbad |
@tkurbad Gerne. Ist sicher übersichtlicher. Sind aber auch 70 Beiträge in der Conversation! 😄 Will merge it this evening after rebase! |

A Retract

Scroll-Feature is already there for the boot-screen. Alone it needs a bit more - updates. Currently the screen in the menu is refreshed only for an event (encoder - click). That gives low load and immediate response. For a nice scrolling we'd need more then ~4 refreshes a second - ~50% of the processor time we have (for the GLCD's). As long as no program is running, that may work, but not during a print.
Scrolling for the 16 chars wide CLCDs only, may be an option

Yes, that sounds very reasonable. Alone, I lack the time and resources atm. to look deeper into this. Does someone else care to take look?
After #3627, I still found several shortcomings in the German translation.
This PR is a proposal of what could be changed to have a more consistent translation.
Best,
Torsten
