Have added a unit test for releases, if this format is good will add for the rest of the methods present in releases and maybe try for kubectl. Please take a look if there are any issues.

@undera Is there a requirement for more unit tests to be added? (I see that the issue is closed) or some other issue / feature that could use a look? I am unsure if this is the place to ask, If so could you point me to the same?

You can contribute more unit tests, just those will go into main branch now.
