I want to lock the scanner in landscape orientation because I only need to scan PDF417 codes which are better read in this mode, is there some setting to force this? Thanks...

Hi, I need the similar configuration. But, I need to set on Portraid orientation. I can´t see in the documentation any idea about this configuration.

Same here, how to setup the default orientation of barcode scanner to landscape mode?

We need to think about combining our efforts, but before going there: please check out the Telerik fork which now supports an orientation parameter on Android.
