1.9.0 Release

Hi all, we’d like to release p5.js 1.9.0 around November 28. Are there any specific issues we should resolve or any pull requests need to get merged before then?

Below are some issues and pull requests we can focus our efforts on before the 1.9.0 release:

• Throwing friendly error in webgl mode when using gridOutput() and textOutput() #6491
• createFilterShader docs + fixes #6530
• Check for per vertex transparency when blending #6541
• Fix width/height not matching after get() #6542
• Adding framebuffer support for filter() + CreateFilterShader for 2D mode #6559
• print("content") outside of setup/draw invokes print dialog. possible to catch with FES? #4272
• nf() produces problematic string-formatting of very large or small numbers #5710

Please let us know if we should label some other issues and pull requests to the 1.9.0 Milestone. Thank you!
