Seafile Setup

Seafile is a self-hosted file sync and sharing platform similar to Dropbox.

The Darklight Games team hosts its own Seafile server primarily for collaboration on art assets (e.g., Blender files, Substance Painter projects etc.).

Request Access

Access to the Darklight Games Seafile server is not public and requires explicit authorization.

If you are a long contributing artist on the Darklight Games team, you may request an account to gain access to the Seafile server.

Getting Started

1. Log into the web portal to set a new password for your account.
2. Download and install the latest Seafile Desktop Syncing client.
3. Open the Seafile client.
4. Choose your Seafile folder. We recommend using the default value or the drive that has the most free space available.
5. Add an account. Use the following information:
