- Reviewing UX research and prototypes
- Feedback on latest InVision prototype
- Nicholas: GUI looks like a webapp, not like a QT app... Alpha expectations?
- Nina: Alpha expectations = QT out-of-box OEM GUI. Current wireframe/prototype GUI matches the OEM GUI of how Nina's brain imagines things.
- Erik: Terminology consistency/inconsistency issues with today's web GUI; neither good nor bad wrt what's best for usability, but could be an issue. Specifically—"Delete Source" and "Delete Submissions" are today's nomenclature.
- Nina: Good to know—yes, need to dive deeper into messaging around documents vs conversation vs source deletion; also, should explore nomenclature in iterative testing before making Pilot release commitments.
- Erik: I like how you redesigned the Qubes boot, altho some things (such as low-res graphics and sucky fonts) are done intentionally around mid-boot limitations (such as—have the graphics engines booted?)!
- Nina: Redesign done to reduce user "WTF is all this weirdness!?" fatigue, moreso than aesthetics; good to know re: graphical low-fidelity, will update prototype for 2pm to reflect!
- Nicholas: GUI looks like a webapp, not like a QT app... Alpha expectations?
