- Put a license on our CoC
- Due to a few different communities (Hydra, DuraSpace etc.) using or incorporating wording from the Islandora CoC, the need for an official and open license has arisen.
- While the Django license uses attribution, there was a question of being "viral" from raised by Mark Jordan.
- Group voted 9 yeses to 1 abstain / neutral to use https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ as the official Islandora license.

-
Can be viewed live at http://future.islandora.ca/
-

-
Yesterday, July 6th was the first CLAW Install Sprint Meeting
-
https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/wiki/Islandora-Install-Sprint-Intro-Meeting
-
Gavin reported that the primary focus of the call was to discuss what a minimal viable product (MVP) CLAW installation process or scripts would be. The conversation ranged from using shell scripts, Ansible deploy scripts and potentially Docker. It appears for now that the potential direction for deploy / installation of CLAW might be with using Ansible on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Additional sprints may include expansion into other operating systems e.g. Red Hat / Centos / Debian and use of containers e.g. Docker given their complexity.
-
Danny Lamb is going to release a summary stakeholder document with technical information for all to review and comment before the end of next week. The idea being that this document will then be used to attempt to recruit resources (developers, sys-admins, documentarians, testers etc) from various institutions for specified periods of time (sprints). All are welcome to join.
-
Melissa has held off on officially and globally announcing the Future theme as there is additional work to be done on the backend but will be shooting for a Monday, July 10th release.
- OR2017
